Samba 2.2.x Japanese Edition
Samba 2.2 Japanese Edition is based on Samba 2.2.x, imlemented the experimental internationalized SWAT and fiex serveral problems around functions for Japanese support.

The features of Samba 2.0.x Japanese Edition
The main feature of this are:
- Internationalization of SWAT (Samba Web Administration Tool)
- We included the functionality that SWAT can dynamically choose the output language on your web browser, using Accept-Language header functionality defined HTTP/1.1(RFC2616).
This means that now SWAT can display in not only Japanese but also basically any languages supported on your web browser and can also change the output language.
In addition, we have fixed a bug that creating a share named in Japanese with (un-internationalized) SWAT causes the share name broken.
- inclusion of the Samba documents in various languages
- We have included some of Samba documents in several languages other than English and make them see through SWAT.
Now it contains Japanese documentation fully translated by Samba Users Group Japan and Chinese and Korean documentation partly translated.
- Supporting for Japanese machine dependent characters and user define characters
- Japanese machine dependent characters, such as the 2 byte characters represented Roman numeric characters and various figure characters are now available.
In older versions there were several known problems that some of such characters cannot share between Windows NT and Windows 95/98, and also cannot convert to other codes correctly.
And setting your coding system parameter into SJIS, CAP, or HEX, user defined characters are also available.
Because of the "user defined", however, remember that we cannot guarantee that a code is displayed with the same griff on several machines.

How to install Samba Japanese Edition
To install Samba Japanese Edition, configure with the options like:
#./configure --with-i18n-swat {other configuration options}
Except this point you can configure and install Samba Japanese Edition as well as the original version.
